Actually no, because it's not a zero-sum game. People who keep bringing up the video game angle are doing so because they are trying to ascribe motivations that don't exist in an effort to obfuscate the issue. Our objections to their bullshit are based in obvious reality, not in similarly ulterior motives. I don't have a problem with saying "yeah, so?" in response, but I also don't see how actually calling out their bullshit more aggressively somehow drags me down to their level.
