At some point it becomes unavoidable. Not saying we're there necessarily, and not encouraging anyone to go out and do something that will ruin their own lives...but the left keep killing rightwingers, and perceived rightwingers.
This is just the most high profile example, but they've been doing it for, well, as long as there has been politics, really. Sometimes it's more, sometimes it's less, but the left loves killing their perceived opponents.
We have multiple killings on video from just the last few years. The dude walking back to his car in Portland a few years back, who was shot in the back by some antifa faggot. That guy in Denver, who the "security guard" executed. Not to mentioned the four people who died on the "Insurrection," most notably Ashli Babbitt. Now Charlie Kirk was assassinated for having the wrong opinions.
We can't coexist with the left.
I always see that quoted platitude trotted out after having to watch them kill someone espousing our political views, for those views. I never see any rational justification for it.
Seems to me that violence mostly just makes things worse for people on the recieving end, it only makes things worse for "everyone" because retaliation is natural. If you're too cucked and brainwashed to defend yourself then you are in fact rewarding violence against you.
While I agree, the problem is the media and political landscape in the west.
Leftists can do that shit all day long and there will never be any consequences for the general leftist population. Hell, it might even be used to benefit left wingers, as the last couple of leftoid murderers have been used as anti-gun propaganda.
However, if you were to engage in similar (or even less severe) behaviour, they will use this as justification to stomp on the face of every centrist or right winger for years to come. Just look at the Jan6 rhetoric.
I agree, but its important to think clearly. The enemy is the leftist institution, the progs on the ground are their cannon fodder. They are waiting around the corner, cameras rolling, for someone to attack or kill their fodder so they can blast it all over the media and convince regular people "see! it's the right who are dangerous!". Attacking or killing progs, or even leftist establishment, will just create a counter martyr to Kirk, which strengthens leftist power.
The entire institution of the left needs to be brought down, otherwise the hydra will just grow more heads. To do that, they need to be exposed for what they are so that being a leftist is rightly unpalatable to the average person. This is silver lining of the tragic murders, arson, and riots that are happening.
So around leftists, never relax. Stay armed, stay safe, and keep your friends and loved ones close. But for the love of god, DON'T go on the offensive.
No fans of Charlie Kirk are radical enough to be aware of just how bad the situation is.

But seriously, this board is pretty anti-Israel, and that is no minor disagreement for someone like Kirk. I'm going to do some "back handed mourning" and point out that many of us probably feel worse about Kirk's death than he would feel about ours, if we were public figures.
If you feel the need to avenge him, you are misguided. That said, there are of course concerns about escalating left-wing political violence that we all share, even with Kirk.

The full weight of the federal government is on the case now, and the narrative that the left is violent finally went mainstream. if you attack someone, that will undermine all of that progress, and could spark a hot civil war that will leave you and everyone you know dead or displaced, with the survivors scarred and paranoid for life.
And I'm not saying to simply bend over and take it, that is a very low IQ interpretation of my post. you should always stay safe, and you should always exercise your god-given right to self defense. But self-defense does not include crossing the line into retaliation, especially when the shooter is still unknown and the organization behind the attack is yet to be identified.
