If judges and DAs got held accountable for their stupid ass decisions everything would be a lot better a lot faster.
Many such cases. The reason they feel free to make such decisions, is because they have no skin in the game.
Judging the judges' judgements would make the judges redundant.
Also, nobody would take the job.
You don't have to judge them completely. But they are making a decision that a person, while guilty, isn't a threat. If that person than goes on to do another crime, the Judge needs to suffer some professional repercussions because their judge of character is proven faulty.
Yes I know it would essentially remove bail as it would be the only way for a Judge to advance but that's not really so bad compared to what we have.
