None of those are actually cited as reasons. Trump is a big supporter of H1B. I don't think he's imposing sanctions on India because his own government is granting visas to Indians.
I guess people here think that anything anti-India is fine, even if the reason is more neocon war and imperialism.
I absolutely think anything anti-India is fine. Indians are secretly the greatest existential threat to America and the West.
So how would things improve if India were successfully forced to join the anti-Russian alliance?

You misunderstand. India isn’t a massive existential threat because it’s overtly powerful. It’s a massive threat because if you engage with Indians on friendly terms, they will lie, cheat, and steal. If you make the mistake of importing them as workers—and India often attempts to put riders encouraging this in their trade deals—they will form ethnic preference networks that will then work to consistently bring in more Indians. This will not only leave natives unemployed, but also, thanks to the aforementioned traits of lying, cheating, and stealing, ultimately degrade whatever company employs them with increasingly substandard products overseen by con men with fake credentials. “Pushing India into the arms of Russia or China” is not so much providing them a useful ally as a massive poison pill, while simultaneously decreasing that poison’s impact on us.
I confess on that. I've worked to much with them and I can't stand them anymore. They're insanely tribal, they lie, they backstab, they cheat on their metrics, they protect each other and what I hate most about them is that they pretend to be constantly friendly while they do all of that. They smile, backstab you and then smile again and pretend to not understand why you got upset.
It seems that it is a cultural trait for them to appear friendly as a means to protect themselves and/or put you off guard.
I hate their culture with a passion. I may not like muslims but I respect them and I can even be friends with some of them. Indians I don't respect.
Indians basically lie about anything to do with status or money. My wife used to be close to this Indian neighbour who behaved like they were rich. It was only after they suddenly moved away that she found out stuff.
I basically didnt believe them cause there was one incident they haggled over something to such a degree and i was like wait that’s not what a rich person does
I've heard similar stories, mostly that it is very hard to work with most Indians.
But does it do any good to foment more war in Europe because Indians are hard to work with, and perhaps treacherous in your experience?
Let me give you an example. I don't like Islam. But I still don't want to bomb Iran or Syria, because that doesn't do any good to combat Islam.
US sanctions India, India turns hostile, limits in place on immigration from India.
Companies are less likely to offshore to India do to tariffs.
That is what I want. I don't care what India does in its home but I don't want them anywhere near me and less offshore to India the better.
I would also want less Indians in tech but lets face it. Since they are tribal with no morals they already own much of tech by sheer numbers so they will bring in more and more of them no matter what happens and, as you mentioned, Trump is pro H1B visas.
Infinite pajeets cause they're such great people. I would take mexicans over indians any day.
I'd get banned for saying what I think we should do to India. As a culture they think they're superior to everyone else while they're shit flinging monkeys who dont value life
