Proposal: if a wnba player gets a triple double during a game, fans should throw wigs on the court like what hockey fans do for hat tricks. Theoretically safer and possibly more sanitary than dildos.
In related news, a different WNBA game was forced to stop after one player's weave fell off. She ran off the court back to the locker room.
Just like in the NBA, where if someone's goggles or shoe came off for some reason, play immediately ceases and the referees go around to verify that everyone's shoes are laced tightly goggles are secured.
pausing a game for the goggles and shoes makes sense, as those are functional sports equipment. when the game is played at the highest level like in the NBA, it's good that the athletes' gear is held to a high standard.
You lose your gear, your team is at a disadvantage until you get it back on or they take a time-out. I've seen players play entire defensive sequences with missing shoes because the opposing team certainly isn't going to help them out by taking a time-out.
It's bizarre how they're trying to make the WNBA a thing due to that mannish looking white 'girl'. At least the women's soccer team won a couple of Olympic medals, explaining the increased attention. :')

Considering the amount of wigs already on the court, it might be too confusing for the players.
Inb4 one gets thrown while on fire and sets them all ablaze.

I was being sarcastic.

consider me got. I only have a cursory knowledge of sports ball, so I'm liable to believe anything that people say about sports with confidence.
