Republicans are an absolute joke

Republican Senators have been the main impediment for getting anything meaningful done in D.C. for more than 30 years.
Remember when Bill Clinton got impeached? It was Senate Republicans that chickened out and voted "not guilty" even though the House presented them with strong, credible evidence that Clinton outright raped more than one women.
The allegations that Bill Clinton raped women were not part of the impeachment charges.
But yeah, of course they're worthless. But why do you think removing Bill Clinton would have made a difference?
It would have ended Hillary's career before it even got started, for one difference.
So... it would have deprived Trump of the chance of running against a historically terrible candidate in 2016, and forced the Dems to nominate someone less bad?
"Thank goodness corrupt people were able to take over the Democrat party and destroy the country so Trump could eventually try to stem the bleeding" isn't exactly a convincing argument.
The Clintons are a cancer on this country. They both should have been rotting in prison since the 90s.
I don't accept your premise that people who were morally better would have been in control of the Democratic Party, were it not for the Clintons.
The Clintons were vehicles of your country's destruction, not the cause of it.
Without Hillary the entire Obama administration would have looked considerably different to a point where 2016 would be an entire new reality. Benghazi is a generation defining blunder centered all around her.
Heck, we might not have even had an Obama, considering it was him versus her in 2008 and he won off her being hilariously terrible then too, much like Biden after Kamala borked the 2020 nomination.
I mean it's long been known Republicans can talk big but be absolute pussies in ACTUALLY holding to what they campaigned on.
Which is why Trump and MAGA aligned politicians got in, much to the annoyance of the establishment GOP.
A joke?
I don't find it funny at all that they all act like this due to being owned by a foreign government. Because of vermin like this, when one day for no reason at all happens, it will be a communist that gets chosen to lead us. And the Republican party will deserve it because they are all traitors.
You are correct, but it's also important to keep things in perspective. I say this as someone who absolutely despises foreign influence.
You could remove the foreign influence completely, and these would still be sniveling traitors and deeply unimpressive people. If they're not cucking to foreigners, they're cucking to corporations and elites.
The issue isn't (exactly) who is buying them, it's that they're buyable at all, and that they're bought. It's that these bastards are not patriots, and don't care about doing their job, don't even understand how the system is supposed to work.
These people are born traitors. If you care about solutions, it's always easier and more realistic to start at home. To paraphrase Jordan Peterson, back before he went insane, we have to clean our own rooms first. Foreign influence is a massive, massive problem, but it's our own government that makes it possible at all.
And foreign influence is literally impossible to stop, so long as foreign nations exist.
We can make protections against it, and we should have had many already like those against dual citizenship, but its just a wall for agents to bash their heads against until they find a hole. They will always find a way.
Which is why its even more important, as you said, that our own people's strength of character is the bulwark against it.
There are people here who are so extreme that they bemoan right-wing populists winning in places like Austria because "they are zionists". Like they're single-issue voters.
If they are zionists then they aren't populists. They are just zionists wearing a populist mask.
That's crap. They back any place that is in a fight with Muslims.
Who does? The strawman you are kicking the shit out of?
Right populists in Europe. Who do you think?
I bemoan the fact that Israel is somehow the global gatekeeper for populism. Any populist who obtains power under this paradigm will, by definition, put his own people and nation second (at best).
Even if I were a warmonger, I'd be embarrassed to be represented by such people.
Honestly, war mongers (historically) are proud of military intervention. Their literal arguments is that we have power, thus we should use it, for we are the hegemon, and battle is good and heroic, and it literally just feels good to get into a fight.
It's a simple, unconfused, very clear-eyed strategy. Smash = Good.
