Honestly, war mongers (historically) are proud of military intervention. Their literal arguments is that we have power, thus we should use it, for we are the hegemon, and battle is good and heroic, and it literally just feels good to get into a fight.

It's a simple, unconfused, very clear-eyed strategy. Smash = Good.
