Yep. She's still obnoxiously feminist and left, but drew the line at the diversity invading her private spaces (women invading male spaces is still fine of course)
And claimed Hermione's race was unknown to excuse someone else blackwashing the character for a theater play ( Hermione's face is unambiguously described as white in the books, and Rowling, who was directly involved in picking the movie cast, picked a White girl for the role ).

It drives the point home that Rowling is just a raging feminist who dislikes or even hates men. She only gives a shit about trannies because it affects her personally. Not because she's in any way anti-woke.

That's literally the entire TERF schism.
They refused to accept men could become the "goddesses" they are and become women, because femininity and all that is literally magic in Feminist Doctrine and its innate. So when trannies started getting uppity about being women entirely and deserving to be treated as such, they put their foot down because men are evil, soulless, etc. and could never be a clean, beautiful thing no matter what.
It was always their hatred of men being stronger than their need to fit in with the progressive politics. Nothing more.
