That's literally the entire TERF schism.

They refused to accept men could become the "goddesses" they are and become women, because femininity and all that is literally magic in Feminist Doctrine and its innate. So when trannies started getting uppity about being women entirely and deserving to be treated as such, they put their foot down because men are evil, soulless, etc. and could never be a clean, beautiful thing no matter what.

It was always their hatred of men being stronger than their need to fit in with the progressive politics. Nothing more.
