In the cockpit voice recording, one of the pilots is heard asking the other why did he cutoff. The other pilot responded that he did not do so.

No saar I did NOT redeem the cutoff switch. The problem is in your end. The needful is to reboot the windows and try again.

Looks like suicide while taking down everyone else with him.

Chalking up to insidiousness what can more easily be explained by incompetence. It was just Saars doing saar things.

Perhaps the most embarrassing mishap in military maritime history is what happened to INS Arihant, India’s first nuclear-powered ballistic missile submarine when it began its deployment in 2017. The then-brand new $2.9 billion submarine was left completely inoperative for nearly a year simply because a hatch was left open, which allowed seawater to rush in, almost sinking the boat in the process.

Imagine the saars shitting themselves when they noticed the water rushing in…

Don’t breathe in, turn around and leave, they are fine, it’s ok.

If this was suicide...I literally have more respect for school shooters.

Sounds like he waited until a few seconds after liftoff to cut the fuel. The other pilot would have had to immediately notice and correct it.

I’m sure the pilot thought people would believe it’s a Boeing flaw & get money for his family

The other pilot would have had to immediately notice and correct it.

It's worth noting that the fuel switches were set back to run from cutoff after just a few seconds, but it was already too late.

I’m sure the pilot thought people would believe it’s a Boeing flaw & get money for his family

If so, that would be extremely foolish in an aircraft like the 787 with its sophisticated flight recorders.

Since the Middle Ages, Europeans had been fascinated by accounts of the Ratha Yatra (lit. 'temple car procession') at Puri, which claimed that pilgrims threw themselves under the temple cars. However, by 1825 it was said: "That excess of fanaticism which formerly prompted the pilgrims to court death by throwing themselves in crowds under the wheels of the car of Jaganath, has happily long ceased."[2] Despite this, a New York Times report from 1864 reported witnessing celebrants deliberately placing themselves under the wheels of the device against the will of the authorities. [3]

And now India is an overpopulated hellhole. Maybe just let people enjoy things, authorities.

They still do this with trains every day.

Historians reported on it & while they'd sometimes exaggerate the "barbarity" of "primitive cultures" in MOST cases they were 100% accurate. Especially French historians.

Like the running of bulls, to this day people die and hundreds are injured at each of the hundreds of parades held annually. That's hundreds dead and many thousands injured every year.

What a loser. If you’re going to kill yourself do it in a way that doesn’t kill 250 random people.

So pajeet suicide that doesn't involve a train. Or they discovered a new fuel delivery issue and they're throwing the pilot under the bus.

If true - they should consider going after the murderer’s family for costs like the Japanese do when you suicide by train.

The majority of fatal crashes of air transportation are suicide or pilot error. The majority of them are with Indian and Chinese pilots.

Always fly American (and, if possible, ex-Air Force pilots.)

Murder suicide has happened a lot - MH370 probably was too.

Europe will spend billions tracking any text and thoughts posted online.

US and Europe will spend trillions tracking cash for “muh safety”

But every few months a pilot decides to kill everyone on board and the response is often : “no idea who did it or what happened”

For the Chinese and Indian community, it’s on purpose as the victims will go after the suicidal pilot’s family for retribution. They don’t care about people killing each other but it’s bad publicity for their commercial flying sector if they can’t get new pilots.
