The amazing thing is, I am generally more modest in terms of what I like for looks. Something like Stellar Blade or Nier would have and in many ways still do push the line of what I find attractive, dancing on the line of going over the edge to trashy.
And yet, because of people like these journos, I am defending them for no other reason than they at least are more attractive than anything else that has been made by what the Journos would want. And that is sad to me.
I completely agree. I too would typically go for a more modest and/or tomboyish type, but if it pisses off journos, cram more bombshell babes in there.
Yeah, like I said in a different post, I have always leaned that way. And characters like Eve or 2B arent necessarily outside of my preference zone, like I said they just dance on the line. But when those are the only options left to get attractive women, you get what you can. Actually, funny enough, that Expedition 33 game that came out, I havent gotten a chance to play it yet, but all of the female characters in that that I have seen in screenshots are very much the kind up my alley and I hope that its success leads to more looking like that in the future.
I’ve always been a pretty sceptical person, since I was a little boy. Hell, it’s why I became an auditor. So I’ve always been able to read subtext pretty well. And THAT’S the thing for me: I’m a man, I like tits and I like ass. It doesn’t make me “evil” or a pervert, it’s just something that’s hard wired into my brain from billions of years of living in caves and running from sabretooth tigers.
I don’t need to constantly goon, but it’s nice when you’re playing a game and get the impression that the devs have put something funny or cheeky into it because they want you to enjoy your time with their product.
Way better than the utter woke, multiculti LGBT dogshit they’ve pushed on us for 10 years because they hate us and want us to know it. Fuck them.
I wholeheartedly agree. I’m personally at the “grandma over the shoulder” stage and as much as some idiots on here disagree a lot of these female character designs are over the top with their, uh, interesting outfits. However I will support good looking women in games against these journos because they hate it so much.
Strangely, I always leaned that way even as a teenager. I am still a straight guy, it is not like a mostly naked woman is going to be a turn off to me, it is just that it's...boring. Its hard to describe, but just seeing a woman in a bikini for me was always just "Ok, you're sexy. I guess?" Meanwhile, looks along these lines to be significantly more appealing and sexy than just letting it all hang out. Perhaps something in my psychology get set from a young age and continued on, because that is all I can think would do it.
It's called not thinking solely with your baser instincts. The woman you linked in the image has character -- she's wearing something that aligns with what she does or is interested in, so it's more than just skin in a barely-there bikini.
Her appearance is designed to tell a story about her character, and if you're attracted to that aspect (or multiple aspects) of that character, it reflects on what you would prefer when wanting to be around someone like that, or traits you might like from a potential companion, as opposed to just a wench in a bikini who is indicating that she's sexy and wants to be oogled, and the men who want to oogle her and wank one off with zero further thought on her value beyond that.
Which is a totally foreign concept to women and fags. Their complaints about straight men's taste have an element of projection to them.
A game having a bunch of over-sexualize characters just feels cheap. Like, you can’t trust the game to hold my attention so you shove a bunch of naked women in my face, really? I agree with you last point, a well stylized outfit with a traditionally attractive woman is much better.
For me it makes sense for people to wear clothes that fit the setting.
That doesn't mean I want the women wearing them to look like they belong in the customer service line of Walmart on government check day.
It does get... repetitive, eh? Like hentai manga with boobs in the 2nd half of the alphabet (M size tits, that's a real thing, apparently) just get boring. They're just gigantic and distracting really. Freakshow stuff.

I agree. For me, there is a bell curve of boob size (weighted around C-DD) and once you get over something like H cup it starts to loop back around to becoming unattractive (dependent on proportion to body style, obviously). While I am not going to do some fedora-tipping pretend answer and say looks dont matter, I completely agree that personality and face are far more important to me than the overall body...even if that is still important.
