The Greatest strength of the pro abortion side is keeping it known as a 'medical procedure', making it seem only clinical.
Once you see HOW it actually is done, you really lose the majority of people so at most, they would put HEAVY restrictions on it (only in case of deformities that would mean agonising pain for a short life etc).
Youre vastly underestimating most women’s ability to deny reality. My second year in college my professor made the horrendous mistake of giving me fetal surgeries for a presentation topic. This was for a gaggle of premed and nursing students which was overwhelmingly female, I was one of 2 men out of 50ish. I made a blood churning, depictive presentation (including videos, which are egregiously rare to find) of each and every form of abortion. Multiple girls walked out because they couldn’t stomach a D&C video being performed on a 12 week old fetus. Every single one of those females compartmentalized it and doubled down on being “pro choice” a month later when it was brought up. The feminist hive mind is vastly more powerful than any reality.
When I was in college I was attempting to become a police officer. I was doing a ride-along with one of the campus police men, and we got to talking about how most "raped" was just drugged up and drunken sorority girls making really stupid decisions and trying to throw the men that they hooked up with under the bus. The police were just mentally exhausted dealing with these girls. There was a ton of cats that wandered around the apartment complex I live then and I asked where those cats had come from. The police man got quiet, let out a sigh, and told me college girls would frequently take cats in when they were kittens but as soon as they had to go home or go off to have their careers or whatever they would abandon them. The cats were wandering around the apartment complex is looking for their mothers. Between that and hookup culture the belief that the majority of women have maternal instinct died for me in college.
I think most people are aware of what abortion is, and what it entails. Most women want the power of life and death, damn everything else.
