American book in 1933 says "Japan is unlikely to attack us without provocation".This is backed up by Henry L Stimson Secretary of war statements "We face the delicate question of the diplomatic fencing to be done so as to be sure Japan is put into the wrong and makes the first bad move" (media.kotakuinaction2.win)

You need to read more. Go get Herbert Hoover's book, "Freedom Betrayed".

Cordell Hull railroaded Konoe's government into collapse, knowing full well he'd get a militarist who would give FDR a pretense to break his campaign pledge and join the shooting war in earnest.

When America and Iran nevitably get in to a war, i bet you are going to blame Iran instead of all the war hawks in America that are clearly itching to go to war with them and who have continuously pushed Iran in to the corner. The American Secretary of War Henry L Stimson outright said word for word that they were trying to provoke Japan and corner them

Iran is messy.

Kirkpatrick was right that WE pushed the Shah to liberalize, which fueled Khomeini's opposition.

Then, after the revolution and having been told to fuck off, the neocon camp of GHW Bush and the like decided to prop up Hussein as an angry puppet to punish Iran with.

I don't expect there will be a war with Iran. Maybe another sea conflict like what happened with Operation Praying Mantis.

They went to war with every other Middle Eastern country that Israel doesnt like and have been destroying Iran's allies like Assad, but im sure Iran is going to be an exception right?

Iran is an entirely different beast from the other Middle Eastern countries. They can retaliate hard.

FDR did everything in his power to provoke a war with Japan.

Because he had no pretense to go to war for his best bud Stalin in Europe otherwise. Biggest mistake Hitler made was declaring war on the US when Japan attacked.

  1. Four years before the Japanese raped and murdered their way through Nanking. They might have an excuse for underestimating their demonic evil, but you don't.

You can bitch about what Japan did to China but it still had nothing to do with America. What does it have to do with America? And why doesn't America go to war with Israel for destroying and raping Palestine? Its not about morality , don't pretend it is .

Also the victors of ww2 write the history books. https://files.catbox.moe/ue002k.jpg

What does it have to do with America?

The United States cut economic ties with Japan after the Rape of Nanking, and the attack on Pearl Harbor was retaliation for those economic sanctions. If you don't know WW2 history don't make retarded arguments based on your ignorance.

And why doesn't America go to war with Israel for destroying and raping Palestine?

Because the Palestinians deserve to be annihilated.

Don't hide behind "some". You and your faggot friends constantly screech about it. Just own your own opinions.

Not quite. after the sanctions we put on Japan and cutting off oil trade with them, Japan needed a source of oil to fuel their war machine in china. They started eyeing us allies south of them, at which point the US moved its fleet to Pearl harbor to basically tell Japan "don't you dare". Japan dared, and the rest is history.

The other issue at hand is Japan is a (largely) resourceless chain of islands for a lot of things required to function, including space.

The southern resource area was decided to be more easily taken over (vs the north, which was a Japanese Army plan and included Siberia, etc) which the expansion and war was meant to give Japan room to defend their interests.

Attacking Pearl Harbor was Japan trying to both work with Hitler and remove the US as a significant power to challenge their expansion to the south. The problem (fundamentally) was a lack of understanding of how the US would react, and we had the same problem with Japan later.

What does it have to do with America?

That it shows Japan had Imperial ambitions, and was willing to invade other countries to carry out a war of aggression.

I understand you're retarded, but this is the lowest bar one can imagine, and you still went under it.
