Well yeah, the devs almost certainly hate Christianity, Christians, and white people in general.

Over 30% of the world is Christian. It is larger than any other religion by a wide margin. So the idea that it's because "more people hate christianity" isn't accurate. If you were going to do it because of catering to the largest population to not offend it would be to NOT burn the cross and be able to burn anything else.

Gonna be honest with you chief. More people fervently hate Jews in this World than they do Christians. There are plenty ambivalent and uncaring about Christians all over, but not the raw seething hate Jews can bring about in people from every corner of the globe.
Like we have historical precedent about how often they get expelled from every nation they ended up in dating back almost as long as the records go. The only people who didn't end up hating them are the ones who didn't meet them.
Shit, its such an instinct to hate them that when people's minds break with schizophrenia, hating Jews is one of the most consistent traits that remain.
American White/Jewish Lefties are some of the few people who have a level of hate towards Christians that a large portion of the world, historically and now, have towards Jews. And magically, one of those is who made this game.
He has a point when it comes to who actually has influence and the fact that Christians don't ever put up a united front and fight back against blasphemy. There's no Christian ADL with any power to shut it down.
His point is completely useless when we know exactly who the dev is, why he did it, and its not even an assumption. Druckmann's motives are clear as day, and we don't need any devil's advocate about it. No need for vague "well maybe this is why its this way!" as if the remaster is the game releasing for the first time yesterday.
And there was never a need for a Christian ADL because we just won. We didn't need those kind of toddler temper tantrums, we just sent missionaries to every corner and succeeded in seeding Christian faith on every continent. Something the Jew cannot do because he is hated within short order anywhere he goes.
It was in fact the push by powerdrunk Christian groups to "shut it down" that drove so many out of the faith in the past decades, and delivered them right into the hands of our enemies.
The same way that right now the ADL and all other pro-Jewish orgs are doing wonderfully in teaching new people everyday to hate the people they are trying to defend. They do more to bring antisemitism into the world everyday than any of us ever will.

This. The separation of church and state belief is really, really stupid. There is always a state religion, and if it isn't an official one... Then it is an "unofficial" one. With all the rainbow flags around we know what the official religion in the West is.
