I thought that Marco Rubio and Michael Waltz were terrible picks for their present positions, because that same ilk - Pompeo and Bolton - had sabotaged Trump in his first administration.
In retrospect, they were fantastic picks. It appears to me that they are helping Trump execute his policies and not theirs. I'm not persuaded by "trust Trump" or "trust the plan", considering that people who say that now bash people who wrongly trusted Trump and praised Chris Wray when he was appointed.
So I was wrong, and I really hope I continue to be wrong.
Your imminent discovery by the retard finder aside, Trump 2.0 has dramatically over performed the last few weeks. I for one have had my expectations blown out of the water.
Its funny, because if Trump had not blown all expectations so far out of the water, most of his "doomer" moments where people were ready to throw it all out would be considered "amazing steps forward" for only getting 40% done when they expected 10%.
Instead he did shit so hard that when we don't get immediate and fantastic results it seems like a massive betrayal and failure.
Meanwhile, Pam Bondi.
That was just step 1.
She's set a trap and the FBI have walked straight into it. She told them to hand over ALL the Epstein files. They did not. Now she knows/can prove they withheld them, they can a) actually hand over thousands of files, b) lie and continue to hide them & go to prison, c) admit they destroyed them & go to prison.
All it takes is 1 patriot to have preserved the damning files & evidence and the FBI will get cleaned out faster than The Augean Stables.
Or it may just be incompetence. Why does everything have to be 912-dimensional chess? I've heard it for 10 years now and it never pans out. Insofar as Trump gets the better of his opponents, it seems to me to be tactics rather than strategy - and their own goals.
They destroyed the MK Ultra documents, and no one ever faced any consequences for that.
(That said, I hope you're right.)
Playing 33d baduk now, chess is over
In this case? It's really simple. Without the backing of the very top though? It's all meaningless.
Like James Comey "pardoning" Hillary by refusing to send the case forward because HE thinks she didn't mean to do it? a) it didn't matter if she meant to or not, it's hard time in prison for the first offense b) she clearly DID mean to do it c) she had signed an affidavit saying she'd done it legally, when in fact that was a lie.
If there had been anyone in charge with a shred of morality? Both Hillary and Comey would be behind bars. But there was not.
I hope Trump goes after the whole rats nest of them, once he gets the important stuff done. There's no 'double jeopardy' since she was never charged!
Hopefully.
Let me guess, patriots are in control and will carry out their secret plan in 2 more weeks
Eh, I'll keep waiting before I draw conclusions about those appointees in particular. Its a better first impression than expected, sure, but betrayal is in many politicians blood.
Rubio was one of the best picks tbh. A lot of them are a lot worse, but Rubio was always a solid foreign policy guy.
In terms of experience, or policy?
He looked like just another neocon to me (I don't care about the 2016 primary, I had TDS at the time), wanting regime change everywhere and being pro-Ukraine.
Experience, and he's been anti China for a long time.
I don't think he comes up with the best ideas on his own, but he's very deep in it in general so that knowledge is super important.
I am still waiting to be convinced by Rubio. He's doing all the right things, but I don't know if he's a better version of Ted Cruz, or if he's a genuine convert.
It’s impossible to predict these things. There are probably a lot of secret patriots who previously looked like snakes because they were handcuffed by unfortunate political realities, and there are definitely a lot of snakes who are now pretending to be patriots because it’s the best way to secure power and sabotage this administration. Problem is both groups look the same unless they foolishly stumble into a valid purity test - like Vivek - and a lot of them are getting to be pretty good at avoiding those traps.
He's going to be Big Marco if he keeps this up.
Posts with double the upvotes: "Don't care. He pulled out a chair for Netanyahu."
One day they will realize the Puyo Puyo combo chain has to be set up before it can be activated and your master plan made clear...
There's a guy here who got upset when the right-wing populists in Austria won, because... they are zionists.
Because that's what Austria's problem is.
I'm impressed as well. It takes a lot to accept things. You rock.
