Yep, taking out competitors, still wont make a dent in what they bring in, mainly to funnel money to fund the operations that you never hear of.
I don't doubt they have submarines or just bribes to the right people within docks.
That or literally people go breaking bad making their own drug supply domestically inside the US to sell.
