I don't believe the NFL is restricted by sex. If she indeed is so much better than the guys, she should be signed onto a team. They use men because men tackle faster and harder, and can survive faster and harder tackles in turn, on a general basis, but that's just a general basis. If they've found the 0.00001% outlier, I don't think there's actually anything blocking her from signing up. I know in other National leagues, such as Hockey, there's been a small handful of women through the decades, two or three who could swing it as secondary goalies. Makes a mild interest story when it happens, and then brushes along because it's not actually breaking any barriers, because there actually wasn't any barrier there.
The vast majority of them with the potential to maybe get scouted, though, would prefer to be in the top-5 hotshot players of the Women's league, instead of the lowest rung backups of the National (Open) league. Big fish is comfortable in the small pond, far from the ocean of sharks and whales.

There was one black female that ''somehow'' ( DEI publicity stunt ) made it to the university-level football team and the coach didn't let her play once because there was a high chance she would have died playing that against the top-level men.
Hey! There was a white girl who was on the field for one play of one D3 football game where she didn’t hit or touch anyone! She was even in the Powerade football commercial she was so good!
Vanderbilt trotted out a female kicker a few years ago who proceeded to shank the only kickoff she ever attempted. The coach was fired within a week if I remember correctly.

I don't think any of the major 5 have gender specificity. All the major women sports usually have gender specificity, weird huh?

I sort of remember her, it was a DIII school and she was a LBer or DB?
