Geeze, they really don't have any problem painting Christians with the wide brush here, do they? Seems rather Christophobic to me.
Also, the "how ridiculous to lie that we eat Christian babies and poison wells!" is such a blatant example of downplaying via proximity. It almost makes me wonder if some of them DID eat Christian babies....
It sure is funny how not only diversity (Musa), homosexuality (gay romance) and promiscuity (cuckolding via letter if you choose to and only if you remain loyal to Theresa) is pushed but Jews being poor innocent victims is a major plot point.

I used to think Blood Libel was a ridiculous myth but seeing how they act now I think it was understated.

In the first game there was a quest where you had to root out some Christian heretics, and if you were nice and let them go you get yelled at by the lord for going against the church and the quest just fails. (said lord in fact was played by Vavra himself).
