What Happened in Syria?
posted 8 months ago by undecidedmask2 8 months ago by undecidedmask2 +68 / -0

It seems that it took 2 days for a new militia group to rise up and topple Assad’s government. I assume that there are foreign supported militias by the US, Israel and Russia, and of course Russia is strangling out Ukraine which takes up more of its time.

So with Assad gone, all those Syrian migrants who fled to the west are going to return home now, right?

Right??

They now have one more thing where they can point to and say we cannot deport them anymore...

The same thing as everything else: 43 days until Trump 47.

Deep state and everyone else is trying to get all the regime change and other fuckery in before then.

Normally they would just take out Trump, but they can't because their media has raised the stakes so much trying to prevent his return that even 'natural causes' would set off a powderkeg -- and they already tried to set off that powderkeg, that's how desperate they are.

Every year I watch and wonder if this is the year for a nuclear attack or some other insane shit on New Years' Eve. Definitely a year to bunker up.

I'll be honest, the way Trump survived the first one led to many calls of 'divine intervention'

I wouldn't be surprised if the Deep State is now too terrified to kill him for fear of creating an internal 'holy war' within the states.

They'd at LEAST start some kind of civil war or at least riots that would make the Floyd riots look like a small quarrel between kids. I'd not be surprised that they are now too scared to do anything against him anymore.

Peasants killing peasants is fine to the elite.

Their concern is one of them may get caught in the crossfire, not that the crossfire exists. They just want their little private Epstein islands with peasant sex-slaves, maybe the occasional elite getting to shoot a peasant in the face and have the elites in the courts go "a hah hah, of course, no charges for you, you're famous and elite! Some random person nearby will take the fall for you shooting that peasant in the face instead... maybe a prop-maker, for irony purposes."

I'm not even religious, but for that moment I was just about convinced that god saved him.

Not to mention that Trump is much more openly surrounding himself with wilder and more extreme people than he did prior, Vance being the most relevant.

So even if they killed him it would just open the power vacuum for guys who are "much worse" (to them) than him to take over.

The problem is The Trump Luck (or The Grand Comedy.) Every time they try to fuck with President Trump like this, it always back fires.

Push Iran Terrorism? He bombs strikes their head of security and its peace in the Middle East.

China threatening Taiwan takeover? He makes peace with Rocket Man.

Push cheaper oil to crash the economy? He buys it it to restock the reserves for chump change.

The best thing they can do is just stop and talk to him damnit!

A group with extreme amounts of weaponry, funding, and manpower shows up out of the blue and topples the government virtually overnight.

As a gentle reminder the Pentagon has failed its audit once again....I wonder where all that money ended up....

Russia and Iran have been too weakened to defend Assad anymore, realising Trump getting in would protect Assad from being usurped by Deep State actors, they pushed it to happen now when there's not enough defenders.

The only good thing is Assad is STILL alive and is somewhere safe in exile. If Syria does dissolve into a Libya 2.0, there may rise a faction wanting to restore Assad so this means they can't completely fall to shit like Libya did.

Trump getting in would protect Assad

What was the one country Trump bombed? Oh yea.. Syria.

they pushed it to happen now when there's not enough defenders.

I think they just did what they've been doing the whole time. They just gave ISIS a free pass and told them there would be no retaliation.

thy will also have a Turkish-sponsored Islamist breeding ground at their northern border. Time will tell how much of a win this is.

They will use the same playbook against Iran that they used against Iraq. Israel riles up the muzzies, the temperature turns up, some false flag or "humanitarian crisis" happens, the West wipes out an enemy of israel.

Repeat until they are the unchallenged hegemon in the region, effectively controlling the majority of the global economy either directly through physical control of trade routes, or indirectly by having their people in positions of power in other countries, or through the usual bribery and blackmail to control other national leaders.

I expect that the current rebels are an extension of the Syrian Democratic Front, which was a creation of the CIA backed southern rebels that was carved out of the southern Free Syrian Army units as that organization collapsed.

What's interesting to me is that Turkey assisted in the invasion, and the Syrian Army stood down. So, it's pretty clear that someone organized a coup against Assad, and most sides seemed to have made a deal. Turkey isn't actually a puppet state of the US, so something must have been agreed upon between Turkey, Iran, Russia, and the US to allow this to happen so quickly.

for a new militia

They're not new. They're the remnants of al-Nusra.

What Happened

Hezbollah was propping up Assad, and Israel gutted them to the point that they couldn't keep wasting resources in Syria.

The rebels noticed this, started pushing, and never ran into serious resistance.

Assad also didn't help the situation, by letting his army revert to peacetime levels of corruption. The Russians didnt help the situation by using their Syrian contingent as a parking ground for retarded command staff (so that they stay out of the way of more important things going on in Ukraine). Of all the states that lost here, only Iran maybe didnt deserve it as much as the others. The kurds came out pretty much unscathed, which i guess is not unexpected because they didnt actually let their army rot(and being a sort-of-US-proxy probably also helped)
