Don't you think stuff like this might get people to vote opposite of what you want them to?

You forget the left operates as a purity spiral. The idea they might alienate some voters is just cause to shame or attack them back into submission.

They might do the opposite AND notice that they "voted" in 2020 without ever filling out a ballot.

They've been super aggressive. I know people who didn't vote last time, and some of them got handwritten (I think), out of state notes, that had a hilariously threatening tone. "We can tell if you voted," that sort of thing, as well as the "report cards."

It's actually pretty insane.

Write back “I worked in pyrotechnics” and send it to the return address

focuses on people who are "underrepresented in our electorate," Lopach said, "such as people of color, young people, and unmarried women."

They're purposefully targeting groups likely to vote Dem.

Singling out groups based on race. There’s a word for that but I can’t put my finger on what it was…

This strikes me as similar to cease and desist letters, in that if you know how anything works you know that it's just a bluff and you can just ignore it or tell them to piss off. But the low-info might actually be intimidated by this shit because they don't know any better.

I GOT ONE OF THESE!!! My mom did, too, she thought it was an ad at first.

It came from some business in Olympia, Washington, and I live in Oregon. I called the number at the bottom to tell the people to fuck off, and I got some poor kid trying to read a script to go through the "unsubscribe" process.

It definitely had a "we're watching you" vibe. Dems are desperate for any kind of organic support.

Yes, this is what kamala needs to do:

Lecture voters on how they are failing you by not being good enough.

Here's the interactive map version. If you live in one of the states featured, then you can see your neighbors' voting information.
