The comments are fucking amazing.
LOL. My favorite.
About a billion "How do you do, fellow kids?" and a bunch of "Pokemon Go to the polls."
First reaction: MEGA CRINGE.
Second reaction: Wait... Fortnite > Epic > Tencent > CCP. Is this foreign election interference? I have no fucking clue, but it's not impossible this crosses some legal lines, as well as the aforementioned MEGA CRINGE lines.
The map isn't sponsored or created by Epic or anything like that, it's a custom map created by the campaign. Apparently you can do that in Fortnite - I have no idea, I've never played it, but that's what I've been hearing.
They have ToS rules specifically against making political maps, but you know; rules are for other parties..
Yeah, I realized that after the fact. I don't play Fortnite, and the use of "official" threw me, as well as that IGN was talking about it.
Honestly, that might make it even more cringe. Kamala doesn't game; she had a team of people contract a team of other people to make and then promote a map on a vidya game. I'd almost have more respect if it had been Fortnite itself that made it.
Already sitting at 4,500 downvotes with ~47,000 views. Almost 10% of everyone who saw that trailer disliked it.
"Freedom Town, USA"
Oh the irony. Democrat gaslighting is shameless.
Gamers now trying to work out how to insert MAGA slogans or slurs without being banned for the lulz
Heck I've seen players in TF2 named "Trump 2024" and "Donald J. Trump" and "MAGA Wins." I've never seen anyone targeting them, and nobody complains about them in all-talk. And the man isn't even targeting young gamers like Kamala is!
Probably because regardless of his age, Trump IS the rebel against the system and he comes of as masculine especially since he got shot and is still fighting.
A lot of young men would naturally gravitate towards him on that alone and because he's going on podcasts as Baron suggested he does instead of pandering moves like the dems, he comes off as more 'real' so he gets their support.
This definitely won't backfire and cause a bunch of people to resent her for inserting herself into their hobby/escape from real life, right?
Remember when the BLM movie screening was constantly getting tomatoes thrown at it?
Also, I really want to hear Cyael's take on this. He and Dia (his wife? Girlfriend?) play it a lot. I'm expecting a lot of black rage.
This is some boomer level attempt at trying to be hip.
I assume on this server you are allowed to kill the players as they fly towards the map at game start. /s
IGN edited out the blatant political support description but here is the cringe: https://youtu.be/sKakDER6pT4?si=602tzZuMVww_ebkX
I'm genuinely sad Imp isn't here for this.
Its got everything he needs from a story. Women, feminism, Fortnite, Epic. All together at once.
What was his Fortnite and epic stance? And how were women to blame for Fortnite?
He loved Epic and Fortnite. I forget exactly why, but he was convinced they resisted feminism more than, say, Apple or Steam. Until they had Brie Larson voice a character, then he moved them to his enemies list.
I don't think he really had a reason to support them, other than "I play Fortnite a lot" and falling for the Epic propaganda about "muh steam monopoly."
It stood out because it was one of his few non-women related personality pieces, until it wasn't.

talk about getting ratioed...
I'd say post KDR, but I honestly don't even know if that's how Fortnite works.
