I really hope they went Horde and didn't put in anywhere near enough research to realise how many times almost every incarnation of the Horde has committed genocide or committed some kind of warcrime since invading Azeroth.
Genocide 1: OG Horde sacrificing countless Draenai, and even turning their bones into a road on Outland.
Genocide 4: Iron Horde doing the exact same thing in the WOD timeline despite being warned about the demons, so this time doing the exact same thing but by their own volition.
Genocide 2: First War attempting to wipe out the humans of Azeroth, and anything else they find, after invading the world and launching an unprovoked and surprise attack.
Genocide 3: Garrosh trying to wipe out all non orc, and goblin, life in MOP after creating the True Horde.
Genocide 5: Sylvanas burns down Teldrassil while it is still filled with civilians using what is essentially magic napalm.
There are also several other warcrimes/atrocities committed by the Horde over the years which regularly have "But Camp Taurajo" thrown back as a rebuttal, similar to how certain IRL groups keep trying to play the same victim card when then doing their own shit towards 109 countries numerous other groups.
Light side Imp stories were amazing for how snarky you could be to everyone and one of my favourite features of the game back when I played it.
That and GSF which I excelled at so much I had people try and put hits out on me in pvp. It never worked, I just shot down the entire other team more anyway.

At least Garrosh had good reason to. Literally every other race in the Horde had openly declared themselves as working against him and waiting for their chance to rebel. And of those that didn't, most of them were literally working with fucking demons, the exact same creatures that got them into all those messes.
They spend the entire of his run time trying to convince us he is super evil racist, but keep forgetting how many "VOLJIN DABS ON GARROSH HARD" they wrote in to the story that justifies how paranoid and anti-every race except Orc he became.
The Horde are a bunch of dindu losers who cry the moment they get any consequence for their atrocities, but at least Garrosh was honest about not giving a fuck and didn't give two shits about pretending to be civilized.
Also literally committing Ultra Suicide in Hell by telling the guy trying to get him to repent "ILL FUCKING DO IT AGAIN" is by far the most based thing in the entire game.

The Horde seem to exist in a short form of reality where you are only allowed to acknowledge their actions within the previous 5 seconds and then nothing else.
The Alliance is literally a perfect analogue for the Left these days anyway.
They are led by a whiney white guy who spends all his time fucking other races and whining about the "evils" he committed in the past. Every expansion has at least once storyline that involves "Named Alliance Hero from the Past is a Bigot" and putting them down. And they are not allowed to ever retaliate to the actual aggression and evil the Horde is constantly committing against them, because it would be "wrong."
There was an entire Raid built around "Jaina is understandably pissed about her entire nation being nuked and the Horde literally desecrating her family, go beat some sense into her!"
Did they run Alliance with their racist, religious, white hierarchy, or with the Horde?
