No it's just a supposedly "based" come-from-nowhere who's married to an Indian and was previously a never-Trump Hillary supporter until his sudden change of heart.

At best, he's just more of the same civic nationalist "conservative" failures we've seen on the right for decades. I can't believe how many times this lesson needs to be repeated for people on the right to get it.

If you were Indian, would you rather an incompetent Kamala actually having a real position or a nice Indian housewife who doesn't have any power but isn't a complete and utter embarrassment?
I think Vance will pick up a few Indian voters, but that's about all he'll do for the ticket.
He seems like a solid person to carry on Trump's legacy so choosing him seems like Trump is confident of winning.
