Don't buy Leibowitz's bullshit for a second. For every safe, half-hearted, and media-approved "joke" he throws at Biden's expense, he will throw at least five towards Trump and his supporters, going on how he's also old, senile, and decrepit, alongside being a liar who LIIIIIEEEEESSSSS and is EBIL! It also made me wonder if the whole "we like to put celebrities on a pedestal so we can tear them down!" meme was really always just a tribal leftist / liberal thing pushed by the bad actors who run the media. The Right will turn on leaders over disagreements on principle or if they feel betrayed, but never because that's just the way the wind is blowing. Nobody on the actual right says "oh, Trump isn't polling well with suburban moms. Let's swap him out." even if it were possible.
