I think quite a lot of this is happening due to the weak Japanese currency, they can't indoctrinate the population like they did in the west so taking advantage of the weak currency to buy businesses outright to try and top down subvert them.
The only silverlining I see in this situation is that there's rise of anti-semitism everywhere. Once it reaches the fever pitch, the bankers and investors cannot go around strutting their shit like they could before.
