I stopped being concerned years ago. Why bother? It's going to happen anyway. I migrated away form AAA games into the indie scene where there's still innovation, and I'm fine doing the same with manga if it gets cancerous.
We have no control over these things happening. They'll fail financially but they'll still continue to do it. Getting upset accomplishes nothing other than ruining one's mood.
At a minimum I'd say you shouldn't act like it's fine or a complete non-issue. Complacency is not a good strategy, even if we don't have any practical course of action for opposition.
An attack with finances is still an attack that should be retaliated against.
