Prosecutors arrested ten suspects aged between 11 and 16 - all reported by local outlets to be boys of 'immigrant origin' - and hauled them in for interrogation

Lawyer Kelly De Caluwé, who is defending a 16-year-old suspect of Somali origin

'I asked for a re-examination because due to the language barrier he said things that did not match what he meant,' she said, according to Nieuwsblad. 'To me he is not a rapist. Although he realizes that something very wrong has happened. That realization comes gradually.'

3'd world people bring 3'd world problems, I bet it will be blamed on white men, white boys in particular

If there is a 'language barrier' that prevents you from recognizing that you and your 9 others from the country of Youthistan that you are raping a girl, perhaps we should not be letting in people who have a language barrier.

There was an interview recently with some immigrants, not sure if also from Somalia, was asking one of the guys about the problems with rape and he was worried not to disturb the neighbors if you are raping at night. Very wholesome

Pakistan and Somalia really are the best places in the world.

I've seen a few takes on that interview and how it's because they lack the IQ to model someone else's reality in their heads so they are unable to conceive that the victim might suffer from it.

Why did multiculturalism work in early 20th century? Because it wasn't truly multicultural.

Irish kids fighting with Italians considered themselves different but both kids would go home to a catholic household.

Also you wouldnt need to explain to a Greek immigrant in 1919 that rape is bad

Shopkeepers in 1920 didn't have to put up signs in the bathroom explaining to a newly arrived German that you put used toilet paper in the toilet

You could also argue it didn't "work", depending on your definition of working. America had ghettos for decades and they were a source of crime and other problems. To the extent that it worked is only because over time immigrants were forced to assimilate (learn English or die), and make no mistake that assimilation went both ways and permanently changed the protestant English culture of America. "And here's why that's a good thing..."

Those immigrants were also irrevocably removed from their homelands. They couldn't go back twice in a lifetime, much less twice a year. They couldn't send all their money home (at least I don't see how, and they probably couldn't afford to). They couldn't just save up to retire back there when they don't need a job any more. So that's part of your assimilation.

And you know do or do not get into the whole "white" thing. I don't see any problems with European immigrants, still. You get a little crime and corruption from the Eastern Europeans, but some of that is Jewish. Actual Poles and Ukrainians and Russians seem fine to me. And the US had a preference for Western European immigrants which made sense too. Today, I say cut it all off, because if we invite Europeans we'll get "Europeans".

What's more, people and groups were not able to displace their own problems on society. Sowell explains that when Eastern European Jews arrived in the US, they were at a significantly lower level of civilization than the German Jews who were there, and that this led to a backlash against Jews in general. As a result, the German Jews worked to acculturate their Eastern European co-religionists.

How different things are now, especially in Europe, which is the world's sewer.

I saw something today that 70% of people in Europe think there is too much immigration. This isn't a popular sovereignty problem now. Elites do not give a fuck.

At least, yes - and the places where it's lower are places like Hungary and Denmark (where it's only about 60%) where governments already have a firm grip on invasion.

But like you say, public opinion doesn't matter at all.

It's all over Twitter, though. I know that they're worried that they're losing control of the narrative. That's why they attack the platform so hard. Mr Musk-tweets are 1 click away from America First and 2 clicks away from the likes of me. The thing they're most afraid of is people finding out they're the silent majority. Cuz think about it that's the only situation when rich heads roll.

To me he is not a rapist

This is one of those times where, as a lawyer you're supposed to do your job, but uttering this sentence suggests to me that he's just as bad as the filth he's defending.

The lawyer is a woman. Is worse but expected
