The gays were literally forced in our face constantly for decades. And eventually they won. They were normalized, they got all the political victories they wanted, and now no one even bats an eye about their existence except us in our niche forums.
So they are just trying to repeat what worked for them last time, but trannies and draggies evoke a much more visceral negative reaction so its not working nearly as well.
Yeah it feels like a distant memory that in 2006 Obama claimed he was against gay marriage and in 2008 there was a 52% vote in California to ban same sex marriages.
