I’m so tired of heritage months. You wanna learn about your culture or other cultures then go find a book. Books are wonderful things.
It's a good thing Americans don't have more than 12 heritages or things would get really contentious /s
Actually, fuck it. Can we make it Jewish Heritage Month and Palestinian Heritage Month. That should be a fun annual blowout.

I’ve unironically learned a lot of Japanese culture just by picking up some manga. I have no incentive to read anything other cultures make because they have zero original ideas
I’ve done deeper dives into British history due to older bbc shows. Recently started reading Manga so I may follow your path
Recently, I've been reading the trilogy of books by Bernard Cornwell about King Arthur. It's incredible how much history the British isle has, and how little I knew about old British paganist tradition, before the advent of Christianity.
I'd recommend them, if you have any interest in the subject.

The point isn't to have you learn about cultures. The point is to show you who controls the government. You can't get a month declared anything, but they can. It's a power flex.
