Huh, At first i thought you were talking about the cuts made in the speeches, always jarring that people no longer can be arsed to train themself to do a full presentation, but a minor nitpick since i'm not paying for content.
Other than that can't say I got much of it, since I keep myself away from normie stuff to a quite good extent, got any example?
I thankfully no mugging at the camera like a clown, at least for the 65 seconds I watched it.
Can't talk about the thumbnail thanks to a highly recommended extension "Clickbait Remover for Youtube". Doesn't always work, but the majority stupid gaping mouths and red arrows / circles are gone when I just want to look up a tutorial or something actually useful.
I know what you mean about the jump cuts. Imagine how much time and effort they have to put in editing that together, instead of doing something productive. It's likely become so common due to the massive amount of people with screen induced autism, whose attention span is nearly extinct. The jump cuts are contributing to this problem.
"Youtubers" are mostly retards vomiting fifteen minutes of empty words instead of writing a single page blog post with two images. The increase in bandwidth capacity brought desolation to the net. If you're consuming enough of that shit to notice trends like that, you are also desolate mentally.
Whassuuup /You beautiful / Bastards?
Donate to muh Patreon because without it, I would never make content ever again (they will).

Any recent Mr. Beast video. Watching one must be what having ADHD feels like.
post an example, numbnuts.
Can you link an example of what you're talking about? I pretty much only watch vids from people I'm subbed to.
"Oh, this seems interesting. A review of Magic Spoon with the globo homo art. I wonder if that stuff is as trash as I suspect it is."
within 60 seconds this guy is throwing boxes around like it's hilarious
"Never mind."

If the stuff you're watching has a lot of jump cuts, that's a 'you' problem.
Dunno, jump cuts are a tool that can be used or abused. If the content is shit, jump cuts are only going to make it worse.
But there are some that lean so hard into jump cuts it becomes an art. Like Max0r or Fleekazoid. They're like 90% jump cuts.

I feel the same but for people who subtitle/closed caption videos with the word appearing on screen when it's spoken. Straight up against the wall.
Write out a full sentence or don't caption at all.
