Jeez, just looked up the video; they gave him so many chances. They let him chase one officer all the way down a hallway, outside, and almost around a corner, guns pointed at him the whole time. He had every chance to just stop.
Also, is this another of the classics, where they use a picture from when he was younger? Hard to tell in the grainy footage, but he certainly looks a bit bulkier then the picture they're using. He was only 15, but was he like 13 in the picture or something?
Anyway, it's still sad a kid died. And it's sad he made cops shoot him. Shitty situation all around, and very avoidable if he hadn't charged the police.
I'm fine with this outcome. He saved the taxpayer a ton of money feeding and housing his ass, and there's no telling how many law abiding people he would have victimized in between stints in our revolving door criminal justice system. I just hope the cop who shot him doesn't get Chauvined to appease Burn Loot Murder.

It's also not a sustainable financial transaction. Families of criminals shot by cops within the confines of the law should not get a penny of taxpayers' money. No matter how any times they cry on the news about how much of a gud boi he was.

It's sad that this kid was allowed to get to the state where this was the result of his interaction with police.
Once he arrived at that state, no more tears. At some point we have to hold people accountable for their own actions.

There are fewer consequences for a police officer killing a white person, so that makes perfect sense.
