Hogan is a Never Trump clown, but he's probably the only person with an R next to his name that has a nonzero shot at winning the deep blue shithole that Maryland is. They'll still cheat him out of the election though. It's one thing to allow him the governorship in a state where the Dem supermajority in the legislature can do what it wants anyway, but there's no way they're going give up the rubber stamp that's been allowing them to pack the judiciary with pedophiles. This is still good news for us on balance. The DNC will have to devote more resources to their dirty tricks in Maryland than they otherwise would have.
Dems are running either David Trone or Angela Alsobrooks against Hogan in this race.
Hogan could help us make the Dems waste millions if only Alsobrooks wins the Dem primary.

32 million is not a lot of money. It's enough to live well for a couple of generations, but it's not 'buy elections' levels of wealth. A senate seat challenge probably costs $20m-$30m. You need a net worth of 300m+ to comfortably play.
