If Africa is so great then why do Africans keep trying to move everywhere else that isn't Africa? though the land itself is perfectly fine and futile, the people obviously cannot create functioning first world societies
a Freudian slip?
i meant "fertile"
it's not. It's famously difficult to farm, and africa imports 5x the food that they produce, to the point that if we ever have a global agricultural interruption, Africa is Fucked.
Well, now they do. Back before the fall of Rhodesia, the Rhodies and South Africans were producing so much that they were exporting, including exporting to countries embargoed by the US... wait... was the GAE behind the fall of Rhodesia?
lol
Life is hard when you’re retarded.
You don't understand, overflowing with success, they can't wait to share it with rest of the world, truly a benevolent group of people
You say you meant fertile, but it's closer to futile. Africa has natural resource wealth non paper, but it is extremely difficult geography to develop around. A lot of Africa is not airable, and the parts that are still have rough soil, and even then you still have to deal with rather cantankerous fauna, and inconsistent rains.
One of the reasons that Zimbabwe had to try and persuade white farmers back, and why the South Africans haven't tried to entirely remove white farmers, is because those white farmers are some of the only people on Earth who know how to make African land productive anyway, through significant effort.
Places like America and Western Europe are blessed with relatively good soil and meteorological conditions, along with native plants, that almost any fucking retard can grow. Like potatoes. You can accidentally grow potatoes in most of the US. This is not so easy everywhere else.
Western Europe had to deal with winters making the entire place infertile for a quarter of a year every year. Africans never had to deal with this this why are you trying to defend africans
Wait what the fuck? You do know that just because most of Africa doesn't have snow on the ground doesn't mean it has the same weather year round, right? You do know that rainy seasons drastically affect the vegetation? Why do you think African herd animals migrate every year do you think they do it for the exercise.
Humans can migrate as well. In Africa all you have to do to eat is walk 3 miles a day - that's not very far really. And you don't even have to go that far.
Europeans had to cooperate for months or even years at a time to survive and couldn't just follow the food. That's why winter made them capable of agriculture and rainy season didn't do the same for Africans.
Because you're shockingly ignorant.
You can't farm in the winter. That doesn't make the ground infertile, you absolute parsnip. If anything, it still deposits water into the soil, which is why spring exists.
The soil conditions in a lot of Africa are generally poor. In Sub-Saharan Africa, there are many forms of clay which are not filled with nutrients, and are the result of little water, and little vegetation. Even that can be stripped by the enormous fauna that eats all the damn vegetation. And again, there are inconsistent rains and rivers that don't regularly flow and deposit water to other areas.
Then there are places which get too much water, like tropical jungles. Most of the foods you eat can't tolerate being water-logged.
South Africa has some of the richest farmland in Africa, and look what happened after the natives got their pound of flesh from their "colonizers."
A damned shame, Quartermain.
And they're retards with sub 75iq
Also just for you, I ❤️ hamas 😘
"I say, Motumbo, an aggressive individual of a rather cantankerous fauna has devoured mater!"
"Oh dear, whatever shall we do?"
"We must move to Manchester, England post haste!"
Where I live there are trees everywhere, and there is the stuff below them, etc. If you clear that and plant stuff, it will grow. I suppose it's just forest occupying perfectly good farmland.
You gotta cut a lot of trees, but hey wood.
You know those plants were made by people right? Like, the Irish were eating 50 potatoes a day and still starving because they were little tiny things before Europeans bred them into today's food crops, same with the other crops you seem to think were just magically always present.
This is wrong on multiple levels. Yes, we have adapted plants into more productive food stuffs, however, they are not "made by people". That relegates, effectively, all food, including most meats into "artificial" category.
Secondly, potatoes had been being cultivated by both indians, spaniards, and amero-europeans before it got anywhere near ireland. Potatoes can't solve malnutrition problems because they have little protein. Finally, the Irish were being intentionally starved.
I don't know why you seem to think that agriculture is solely the development of Europeans, considering they didn't invent it. I don't know how you think that the fact that agriculture exists, invalidates the difficulties that Africa faces in regards to agriculture. I don't know how you think that "potatoes are easy to grow" insinuates that agricultural development didn't happen. I didn't even mention "some crops just magically exist".
I think you're missing the point here. Most food plants today don't even look like the originals, both from directed evolution and agricultural growing conditions. If you saw the original plant you wouldn't even know what it was.
For example, here's the Lumper grown naturally - 50 of these is not a lot of food. They were starving because of lack of calories. Compare that to a Russet potato for instance.
I said you thought they magically existed because you seemed to think Africa didn't have its own plants that could have been bred into food crops. Okra for instance, lots of yams and gourds. They just didn't do it. Europeans turned watermelons into what we know today instead of this. Peaches were tiny cherry-sized and almost all seed before Chinese made them into food.
It's not entirely Africans' fault; warmer temperatures and better growing conditions lead to more plant disease and pests, and the large area meant they didn't have to wait out a season. But whatever the reasons, they didn't make an agricultural society and didn't get the social and evolutionary benefits from it.
