Gotcha. A few of my ancestors came from there and thanks to ancestry I’ve met some distant cousins in England. Do y’all have a holiday there that would be the equivalent of Thanksgiving?
In terms of indulgence Christmas, we have saint George's day in April but that's often forgotten in favour of Paddy's Day in march, so not really I don't think. Still, eat drink and be merry
