There is a reason O'Reilly had a "sudden" influx of sexual misconduct allegations and had to resign nearly immediately after in 2017.

I watched The Five somewhat regularly for a bit a few months ago, and I know Gutfeld had a short rant that noted the various descriptors used to hide black crime.
Whether new or more extreme or not, I think Fox News may be imposing limits on how much the commentary can get into what I'll call hard truths. To some degree, it could be seen as a protective measure to avoid losing advertisers from cancel calls.
