The reason I bring this question is I have started rewatching Boston Legal and it made me reminisce. I’ve always been one to “maximize free time” in other words ive always had two separate activities running at the same time. For example Boston Legal reminds me of when I got my Xbox and started playing KOTOR and Fable as that was when my uncle gave me a small crt tv for gaming and I had a second older tv for local access television. Another one was little kuriboh/ yugioh abridged and call of duty modern warfare/ cod 4, also team four star and dbz abridged. I was wondering if anyone else also had a random combo of games/ media that was iconic to them.

I recently found out that peaches taste really good while drinking espresso, but I don't think that's what you were going for.
Gaming related the only one that immediately comes to mind is Septerra Core and SHOGO MAD because they both came on the same disc. I thought SC got a little boring as it went on but Shogo was excellent. Wish someone like From Software would bring it back.
If you really want to amp up peaches, slice them, then flambé with grand marnier, brown sugar and cloves. Same base premise as bananas fosters. Then put with a vanilla ice cream of your choice. It’s an easy leg spreader for a date too.
Peaches also go great with prosecco.
I need to play SHOGO when I have the time.
Also semi related, Al sharpton shows up in multiple episodes of season one of Boston legal as essentially a whore for grandstanding which I’m sure was supposed to be charming at the time 😂
I do have quite a few combined experiences like this as well. Forgot what I used to call them.
For instance, I distinctly remember a specific level portion of Jedi Knight 1 (or Mysteries of the Sith) involving a water pump and some cooling system that you had to sabotage to get through to the next section of the map, while I was listening to news on TV about the USS Cole attack.
And of course more Jedi Knight related memories during the 2002 Olympics. Specific maps, mods, etc.
I think it's because of how the brain builds and networks memories, often layering and connecting neurons based on association. And that association is probably reinforced even further whenever you recall any relevance-linked memories.
I used to build in Minecraft while listening to baseball games, but that's been a while. Best I can come up with unless you count listening to music while driving
Baseball games on mute while playing Skyrim
I have this with a ton of things. Certain episodes of TV shows remind me of specific zones or quests in MMOs. Certain games remind me of certain liquors. I have one that connects a specific candy with a specific game in a combo that's so unique, telling it to you would be a major breach of opsec.
Making random associations is borderline a superpower of mine.
Come to think of it, I associate whiskey with L.A. Noire and Yakuza games because I would always have a few drinks while playing. Whiskey and 1940s murder mysteries just makes sense, not to mention all the random alcohol trivia you can get in Yakuza 0.
I have a somewhat permanent association of Metal Gear Solid 3 with a handful of breaking Benjamin albums
Orange Soda and American Store bought Egg Nogg create a creamsicle tasting frothy drink that I love. Ramen needs vegetables, meats, and maybe peanut butter or a slice of American cheese to really taste good. Ribena and Ginger Ale are very good together.
There was one summer during early high school where I was playing Might and Magic VI but I had a pirated version with the music ripped off so it fit some scene release rules or who knows why but it was a common thing back then. It was also the year I won 10 music cassettes to be chosen by the winner on the inside of the bottle cap of Sprite this was before they turned all such winning into u must send this code through text messaging bla bla. Anyway my dad chose some of the music and I chose some. I ended up playing M&MVI and listening to Roxette on my stereo (dad picked that one). There will forever be an association between those two things in my head. I've also been a lifelong fan of Roxette since then. My Might and Magic /HoMM fandom didn't survive the demise of New World Computing though I did try to like the russian stuff.
Spliter Cell land mines are related to ice cream sodas as described in the cassette tape audio book of Cheaper by The Dozen
Podcasts/audiobook with No Man's Sky set to chill wrt combat, I guess.
As far as media triggering random memories/associations go, I have so many of those, I don't even know where to start. Some 80s songs remind me of certain people and places I've known and been, though. And some will always be associated with our cadet dances (Stairway to Heaven was always the last song of the night; it just feels wrong if it isn't now.) ]
