My take on Tesla and electric cars in general is the technology doesn't exist, but they try to force it anyways by making us all drive the equivalent of Chinese drone. Even the race cars sound like RC cars.
Well, yeah, that's the risk with modern electric cars. You'd be better off with hydrogen fuel cells than the lithium batteries they are using currently.
If you want to use current electric cars, don't have them anywhere near the sea and for a safer bet, near any flood zones.
