I remember a leftist I know during the Floyd riots showed pictures of white people rioting as if he was making some profound point. I said that if white peoples riot or act like animals they are roundly criticized (unless they are allies of the appropriate causes) whenever I showed him all the blm/Antifa damage he sent me hat Time Magazine article that said over 90% of the protests were peaceful. Even if that was true (I find it as reliable as the article that said that covid wasn’t being spread during the riots) you can’t deny the billions in damage. When he made a big deal out of Jan 6 he got pissed when I said that the Capitol has insurance.

Yea. Or try to point out the slave trade in Africa or other parts of the world and you are told you are deflecting. I tried to get someone to watch a Thomas Sowell video about slavery and they refused because “Sowell just tells white people what the want to hear”

Protests aren't countable events. Riots are rare enough that they probably are (except for the places like Portland that had daily riots for a while). I'm sure you can find as many protests as you want for the divisor. It could be 1 guy.

Remember the church being burned down and how the media was clutching pearls over Trump holding the Bible in a photo, but who cares about the church. Even the minister of the church didn’t say anything about the burning. And the worst was David Dorn and that white mother who was killed for saying all lives matter. To this day I say that time period was one of the worst in this countries history. To treat him like a saint was disgusting.
If this was happening to a black church, when this did happen to black churches, the media would call it oppression or terrorism. As much as I hate to use the word oppression, because I think it's kind of weak sounding, what this amounts to is white people being oppressed. I'm not saying this to say "oh poor me." We've got to answer it.
And I thought the minister’s response was so pathetic. She practically praised the rioters. The way the media lionized thugs and framed the Floyd riots as Sone sort of racial protest will always annoy me. But yes you are right, if it was a black church the media would be all over it.
