I don't have the numbers at hand, but I recall it was something like 80% of prepubescent children who think they are trans realize they aren't if they're allowed to go through puberty normally and un-groomed. Essentially it's children who don't have a lot of their sexual characteristics yet being told that feeling like they don't have those characteristics must mean they're trans, rather than just meaning that they're prepubescent.
You could count the 42 percent club towards this. More than half of the people who transition are unhappy with it, 30% have the chance to deteansition, over 40 choose to take their lives. It's a net negative all around and should not be done to kids at ALL.

I’ve noticed lately the trans activists are trying out words like “disfiguring” in their discourse, trying to seed the conversation with the idea that going through natural puberty despite the Internet convincing you you’re the other gender is akin to being maimed, and it’s blatant what they’re doing, it’s all setting up the argument that waiting until 18 to transition is akin to cutting off someone’s limbs in terms of how “bad” it is so we NEED to start kids early.
