THIRTY. PERCENT.

Expect this to be a bit of a Rorschach

Hah. Go on, you little fucking weasel. Just from that statement alone, I know you're a leftoid.

It's easy to argue that the good of the majority should outweigh the cost to the minority.

Hahaha, no. That's not how this works. You can't have something a 30% chance of permanent, unwanted life-changing consequences to be handed out like skittles, and you can't be doing it to kids at all. You can huff copium all you like, this data is DAMNING and you fucking know it, you little pedo commie bastard.

Even if de-transitioners were only a few percent, that's enough to shut it all down until people are over 18 at the very least.

30% is like a genocide against the futures of America's children. And 30% is just those who quit within a few years. how many of these will stop or kill themselves within 10 years? 20?

a lot more than 30%.

The percentage of specifically children who would grow out of it is way, way higher than 30%. I don't have the numbers at hand, but I recall it was something like 80% of prepubescent children who think they are trans realize they aren't if they're allowed to go through puberty normally and un-groomed. Essentially it's children who don't have a lot of their sexual characteristics yet being told that feeling like they don't have those characteristics must mean they're trans, rather than just meaning that they're prepubescent.

You could count the 42 percent club towards this. More than half of the people who transition are unhappy with it, 30% have the chance to deteansition, over 40 choose to take their lives. It's a net negative all around and should not be done to kids at ALL.

You don't build a civilization with snakes and barbarians; you build it on top of them.

Yeah I think I give some credit to the OP’s explanation of this being “a Rorschach” — people with agendas are going to see the meaning or solution they want to see. I’ve noticed lately the trans activists are trying out words like “disfiguring” in their discourse, trying to seed the conversation with the idea that going through natural puberty despite the Internet convincing you you’re the other gender is akin to being maimed, and it’s blatant what they’re doing, it’s all setting up the argument that waiting until 18 to transition is akin to cutting off someone’s limbs in terms of how “bad” it is so we NEED to start kids early. You’re right, man, the agenda-mongers will see this and say it proves we need to trans more kids. God damnit!

No, no. If you give people nonlethal poison, tell them it's medicine, and more than half don't stop taking it...that means it's good! Bigot!

Are the suicide statistics still around 40 ?

If so then 30 turn back, 40 hang around which would leave 30% left which is amazing. Imagine pushing something with 30% success rate and horrible consequences 70% of the time

Combine with a 50% suicide rate and you have a 20% "success" rate.

Easy to call it rare and insignificant when you spend years ignoring every example that comes your way and dogmatically ignoring the very possibility of such

Every positive statistic you see from gender activists is a total fabrication, easily dismissed except they're programmed to reject anything you say after 2-3 words if you're identified as an enemy. You can't beat them in a traditional kind of argument when they operate like that.

The 30% aren't extremist jackasses, keep that in mind.
