Now personally I follow the whole “judge by content of character” mindset from a Christian perspective and I’ll give anyone a chance but I totally understand how certain attitudes arise. I completely get it now. I may be a very optimistic person but I definitely see where you are coming from.
My position is that you've spewed more than enough ignorance, lies and blasphemy to have long since disqualified yourself from any discussion of religious doctrine.
Wow man, just how afraid are you to to showcase your ignorance of the religion you purport to follow? So you couldn't answer. Unsurprising. Your comments on this very thread are a blasphemy, by pretending that original sin does not exist and denying man's fallen nature by attributing it solely to blacks.
Understand. I have this constant struggle between what I know is reality and what I wish were true. Like I’d love to see everyone getting along and respecting/loving their fellow man but reality is far from that
The way I personally see it, we're called to be gentle as doves, but shrewd as serpents. You don't pre-judge individuals by the aggregate, but you don't throw out the aggregate as useless information either.

The problem is that when you do that, you end up judging a large portion of blacks as just generally shitty and undesirable to the point where it makes more sense to just not bother with the aggregate because the exceptions don't offset the costs of doing so.
I really wish it were otherwise, but reality is exceedingly unkind in this regard.
I get the point you are making (and dont blame someone who comes to that conclusion because there is ample evidence do so) but I’ll always give any individual a chance and maybe we become friends.
I don't disallow for that outcome, I just don't start with that as an expectation. I'll assume the worst and allow people to prove that assumption incorrect. Doesn't mean I have to be rude or hostile, just guarded initially.
Justified response to their collective behavior, but also another result of diversity. If people mostly kept to nations with their own kind, most of us would naturally be more trusting and accepting of other races out of ignorance of their worst representatives.

I'm an optimistic person too. I'm also a Christian.
But the Good Samaritan put the travelers in an inn. Not his own house.
Good analogy. I’ve helped homeless but also helped them find people who were able to assist them. Actually assist. Not government assistance
What is your position on man's fallen nature?

100%.
I don't pre-judge anyone -- but it becomes painfully obvious who conforms to stereotypes with 5 minutes of meeting them.
Maybe 10 years ago I gave people more of a chance, but it is largely a waste of time.

That makes sense
Taking those two points together is the only rational approach.
The problem is that when you do that, you end up judging a large portion of blacks as just generally shitty and undesirable to the point where it makes more sense to just not bother with the aggregate because the exceptions don't offset the costs of doing so.

That is reasonable and nothing wrong with that
