If Ukraine's counter offensive proves successful, then Russia is in big trouble. Don't let any of the propaganda fool you. Advancing in this war is hard and if Ukraine is quite successful in doing so after Russia fortified their positions then Russia is simply out of juice. It's not a fake to overwhelm the Ukrainian forces, it'll be Russia losing the war. If Ukraine's counter-offensive is unsuccessful and there's no advance then Russia will win the long-game and has the war in the bag.
