Wizards of the Coast / Hasbro sent Pinkerton mercenaries (yes, that company) to seize YouTuber's property they claim was "stolen". (archive.is)

In a lot of ways it reflects their values very well. ACAB so defund the police, courts let innocent people go free. So anyone who is allowed to have money under a Leftist regime will just hire goons to shake people down like the mob.

That’s their plan. If you look at places like SF and Seattle, private security companies are booming. Streets full of druggies and hobos except for company campuses or apartment complexes that have rich residents.

WotC is very much so some kind of money laundering scheme. I've had friends work for them who told stories.

Would you kindly share some of those stories if you are able?

There are specific people who work for the company that can never be mentioned. Also, they can never talk about actual sales. The numbers going out are not the internal numbers. In fact, there are a couple of different internal numbers that no one really knows what is true. They are both failing and super successful at the same time.

Thank you for the insight. It sounds unpleasant, though it seems par for the course for large corporations in my experience.

Ooh, please say it's connected to their support of the secondary market.

Rofl, it was literally Pinkerton?

Ha ha, oh wow. There goes all their progressivism points, holy fucking shit.

Why? I've barely even heard of these guys. Anyone can come knock on your door and tell you that if you have stolen property they are going to the cops. Sounds like they asked for it back menacingly, which is fine if it's "their" property. Which WotC was asserting at the time it was, whatever they said later about it not being theft.

Why? I've barely even heard of these guys.

There is a reason for that. They have a big problem with getting people killed anytime you call them for literally any task, including as recently as 2020. This isn't a company you call to "ask," its who you call to "ask" while hoping they beat/kill the guy.

And their big claim to fame in their heyday was being the guys you called to destroy unions and anything that smelled like labor organization, which is a bit of a problem for a Progressive company.

Don't forget rampant property theft

I think WotC got exactly what they wanted: their stuff back (as a means of finding their "leak"). Violence wasn't necessary so in this specific case I suppose the guys didn't live up to their reputation.

They were in a win win ( get stuff back, or get stuff back and punish the dude physically) as long as the story didn't get big enough to have optical backlash on them.

Seemingly it won't because they are a "protected" company by the media, but its worth us noting because it shows how willing they are to let violence happen. Even when its not necessary, as the 2020 case I mentioned the guy killed a woman while being security for a news crew in Denver.

Why? I've barely even heard of these guys.

Pinkerton are a private security and private detective agency founded in the 1850s. They were Lincoln's hired goons during the Civil War for extrajudicial law enforcement against anyone who questioned him.

Throughout the 20th century they were used to break labour unions, which they sometimes did by means of mass shootings.

They're still used as union busters today, and they're still committing murders today.

You've barely heard of them because the elite don't really want you to sit and think about the fact that they routinely hire violent thugs to deal with people who cause them problems.

From a left wing progressive point of view, Pinkertons are class traitors, and basically satan's footsoldiers, yet WOTC have spent the last decade sucking up to left wing progressives.

Did they steal campaign notes and character sheets? In the disastrous OGL they tried to claim that all belonged to them.

Don't know if anyone is a fan of MLP because I'm not, but lets do a parody of the smile song:

My name is Pinkerton,

They'd probably leave and then go file a theft case with the cops. The way I heard TYer describe the encounter is that they claimed ownership of the "product", explaining they considered it stolen without making an accusation, and then asked for it back.

It's kind of like, if your bike was stolen. At least once upon a time. And you saw it in front of someone's house, well you'd go to their door probably and ask for it back. They might just give it back to ya.
