Didn’t really love the first one, the characters in this one look kind of pozzed from the outset. MC used in all the advertising is a cool British Black guy which wouldn’t have bothered me like, ten years ago but gives me pause these days.
Mildly, but it’s pretty fun overall. There’s a cunty chick but you’re clearly not supposed to root for her, and Brad Pitt makes a joke about mansplaining but his character is supposed to be kind of a new-age douche and it’s more played for laughs.

I had the same immediate visceral reaction to that British Black Guy in Bullet Train (Lemon?) but it turned out alright in the end.

Take this with a grain of salt, as I only saw a few minutes of gameplay, but the women seem exceptionally ugly. Even by Modern Beauty Standards.
I liked Dead Island 1 and Dying Light 1, and perhaps DI2 is decent, but I was highly suspicious of the tiny bit I've seen.
