This has been coming for a while. Ever since racism began to be defined as involving institutional power or something like that, as opposed to just bigoted motivation.
When did that happen, exactly? Liberals will insist that it's always been that way, but I'm confident this is a recent development (the last 10 years or so.)
last 5 years. all throughout the 90s and 00s, even early 10s It was taught in the classroom that the cure for racism was color blindness (and sometimes reparations, depending on your school).
Assisted by certain powerful interests pushing these ideas, acceptance of the oppressor-oppressed paradigm was an inevitable rationalization of past incongruity. Yes, White children were taught that color blindness was the way, but society never followed those rules. It wasn't as bad as today, but Black people were always given special allowance for bad behavior that White people weren't, in the public schools, criminal justice system, government handouts, and more importantly in cultural products that pushed subtle pro-minority, anti-White messaging. White folk never cared about racist humor at their expense, but had to be sensitive and understanding when a Black man was offended by the word "master". Well brought-up White folk always had to be compassionate to the poor, less fortunate minority souls. Minority families never bought into that nonsense, but plenty of them took advantage of it.
Children learn not from what they are told but what they see. Over time being taught one thing (->nobody is allowed be racist) but seeing the truth is different (->some people are allowed be racist) creates a cognitive dissonance that wants to be resolved. The rationalization that satisfied that want was neo-marxism and intersectionality, so the answer (->racism=power+privilege) was easily accepted by a conditioned public. The average liberal thinks it all makes perfect sense now. "I always knew there were good reasons why Black people had a pass to insult whitey all day long, but couldn't put it into words before. This explains everything. It's not Critical Race Theory - It's Critical Race Truth."
They are. Black Racialists think that jews are just worse forms of whites.
The hasidic jewish population of New York was repeatedly targeted by Black National Socialists during the BLM Riots with a litany of serious attacks, including machete attacks. There was one famous video where a bunch of left-wing jews were standing around in a BLM protest and were ordered to leave for being jewish.

Last 50 years. This was always the intended outcome of “positive discrimination” being legal.
It's a little bit before people stopped laughing at "Her Penis" and actually began to take it seriously.
It started being redefined in the 10s I think.
so what they're saying is that it's impossible to be racist against jews?
whenever they say this, call them antisemitic.
No no, le holocaust. Forever.
In 2014, it was starting to burst into the mainstream. Up to that point, the "it's just tumblr" defense was still widely used.
The older you are the earlier you would notice it.
For millennials like me the starting point was OccupyWallStreet and 2014.
I think it was the Trayvon Martin case back in 2012.
