Honestly this is going to become a temporary metric for how to tell if a video is genuine or AI generated. All the big AI outfits are censoring the fuck out of their products, so if you see a video of someone saying "nigger", you'll be able to know that it's real because the AI is hardcoded to prevent it from saying that.
They'll eventually figure out how to just splice things onto a video of someone saying "nigger" and do that so efficiently that it'll get back to being indistinguishable, but there will be a brief window where that can be used to distinguish between reality and AI fabrications.
I'm calling bullshit on this story. It has all the earmarks of advertising PR to sell GPT-4 (the original link has a click here to pay $20/month to subscript to GPT-4). If not completely false, it is very likely embellished in some way.
