It sounds like he doesn't have much time left. I won't dump on the guy while he's dying, especially since since I don't believe he was downright evil like the 3 Democratic presidents that succeeded him. The dude looks like a saint considering he was succeeded by a murderer, a homosexual communist, and a dementia ridden communist. I'm sure he's pleased that he lived long enough to see someone come along and make him look good in comparison.

I'll happily trash the man while he's dying. He's living proof that leftist economics destroy human lives, and the collapse he caused paved the way for NAFTA to sell out the entire country. Building a few houses afterwards doesn't come close to making up for what he did.

Okay, but what about the next two?

He is 98 years old so this is not surprising.

I don't agree with Jimmy Carter politically and I don't think he was a successful President yet since leaving the Presidency he has demonstrated a long history of humanitarian works so I still truly wish him well.

I think we can all say he is not evil.

At the very least, it looks like he left most of the evil in the white house.

Personally, the worst thing Carter did was effective kill any chance of nuclear power being more widespread.

Not really surprising. He's old enough that I was surprised when someone mentioned that he was still alive back when the Queen died.

Before my time anyway, so I don't really have strong feelings one way or the other.

I had no idea what you were talking about but looked it up, and that’s quite a story.

Wikipedia says, “Chad, Ethiopia, Mali, and South Sudan are the only remaining endemic countries. Not coincidentally, all four are affected by civil wars which affect the safety of health workers.”

So it’s only some third-world wars that will stop him reaching his goal, but that damn worm won’t be around THAT much longer from the look of it.

Never underestimate the African people's ability to drag out something well beyond when it should be done and over by sheer retardation and self centeredness.

From the CDC:

Great progress has been made towards elimination of Guinea worm disease; the number of human cases annually has fallen from 3.5 million in the mid-1980s to 15 in 2021.

Coincidentally, this is also the number people who manage to make it to a source of water without being gunned down by a warring tribe.

Where is Guinea worm? Is it dead? Is it eradicated?

Despite being an absolutely disastrous proto-Obama, he did at least outwardly seem to be motivated by an interest in making things better for people.
