The Berserk anime is overrated low-budget trash, though. Why are we kidding ourselves? Perhaps the manga was good, but the anime?
And who is the first from the left, top row? And the second from the right, top row? Is that Macross?
And where is Trigun? Or Akira. Or Ghost In The Shell. Or Battle Angel Alita. Or Ninja Scroll? Or Dominion Tank Police? Or one of the most famous mecha franchises out there: Gundam? Patlabor? Guyver? Nausicaa? Mononoke? Lupin?
Original anime where they still tried to use adults as leading characters, instead of adolescents.

A surprisingly large number of characters in your pyramid look exactly the same. The golden age of anime is long past. Instead you're focusing on industrial output with prefab elements that are only mildly rearranged in each iteration to hoodwink a receptive non-critical audience.
Battle Angel Alita? Akira? Ghost In The Shell? Those are mainstream.
