This is disappointing from a series with great game play. Supports and story have been shit so far in engage and I could tell localization was done terribly. At this point though fire emblem is going to be a game I have to wait for these kind of reviews before I purchase it. I usually trust most Japanese developers but IS has made me wary.
What Nintendo does nowadays is write the Japanese script for their games to mirror censorship and localization fuckery that would occur in the west, that way people don't complain that the game got butchered in localization, and for whatever reason people are more willing to accept shitty ESG practices in games if all versions of the game suffer from the same woke garbage instead of it happening during localization.
