For me I was on the fence, but once they added candace owens to their mix I immediately lost all interest. Having people of all cultures can be a great way to discuss topics, but the way they did it felt more like them trying to brag about her race than her credentials. "Join our site, and you can listen to the same fence-sitting shpeel tim poole does, only in the voice of a slightly attractive black lady."
I mean I always loved the clips of Candice Owens telling the BLM idiots they’re idiots and all, but Jesus it’s almost impossible to listen to her actual show. She’s always shrill, saying a thousand words a minute, full of anger and bitterness. I close YouTube sometimes and realise my ears are actually ringing. Definitely not a fan of hers.
And all that hanging onto Kanye West’s coattails, all those Fox News segments... zero doubt she’s a grifter of the highest order
I cannot for the life of me understand why the existing Daily Wire audience might like that style.

See, one of my co-workers is pretty dumb and came up to me with this about a year ago, trying to suggest that with her in the fold it gives conservatives an edge somehow. When I brought up the idea of democrats only wanting to focus on race/gender so they can divide and conquer and that when you fight with idiots they'll win via experience, he walked out of the room and didn't speak to me for about 2 weeks.
There are quite a few really good black conservatives that actually bring up interesting points (thomas sowell being my favorite as I've bought 3 of his books). There are also quite a lot of them that, much like tim poole and 90% of the women who have onlyfans accounts, know there is a ton of money to be made by faking something and slowly converting people into their whales. In the case of daily wire it's the latter, as unlike crowder they will backpedal constantly even if it means looking like massive hypocrits.
Larry Elder is another good one IMO
I used to like her. I was watching her a loooooong time ago when she had a rinky dink channel and referred to it as "the myth of the coon". I think the problem is that the "person who's based but not from a traditionally based demographic" schtick became SUPER popular with her, Lauren Chen, Hodge twins, some of those gay people whose names I forget. True or not, it started to feel like a giant grift. But Vince Dao is legit. If you haven't heard of him, check him out.
