See, one of my co-workers is pretty dumb and came up to me with this about a year ago, trying to suggest that with her in the fold it gives conservatives an edge somehow. When I brought up the idea of democrats only wanting to focus on race/gender so they can divide and conquer and that when you fight with idiots they'll win via experience, he walked out of the room and didn't speak to me for about 2 weeks.

There are quite a few really good black conservatives that actually bring up interesting points (thomas sowell being my favorite as I've bought 3 of his books).
